VINCENT RUSSO'S BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Vincent Russo in his studio.

Vincent Russo is a renowned sculptor and a physician with a distinguished career in orthopedic surgery in Scottsdale, Arizona.  He grew up in the beautiful Hudson River Valley in upstate New York, and has nurtured his artistic talents through the years. In medical school, and later during his orthopedic training, his instruction included the in-depth study of anatomy, which he utilizes daily in his career as a surgeon as well as an artist.

Over the past several years, he has been able to dedicate greater time to his artwork, studying under such renowned artists and sculptors as Richard Mac Donald, Bruno Lucchesi, Blair Buswell, Tuck Langland, John Coleman, Lincoln Fox, Stanley Bliefeld, Peter Rubino, and Jerry Cox.

His work is figurative with a personal style that emphasizes his love of anatomy, family, and human nature. His work can be found in numerous private and corporate collections nation wide.  His awards include first place for “Ashley” at the Scottsdale Art School, 2006.
