BIOGRAPHY

|

"The Slipper
Chair", self portrait, o/c, 16x20
|
Inspired by the
techniques of the Old Masters, this diverse artist creates realistic
portrait, figurative and still life paintings in oil that strive to
preserve the tradition of realism in art. “My goal as an artist is to
capture the beauty of a subject on my canvas, and through it conveys a
lasting aesthetic inspiration that will stay with the viewer. I want the
viewer to appreciate the realistic techniques of the Old Masters.”
Judith
Mroski-Gonzalez was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1966, but has lived in
Texas since 1973. Inspired by her grandfather, who was a painter, she
decided to pursue art as a career. She received a Bachelor of Arts

at Clear Lake in 1989, and workedfor 15 years as a graphic
designer. She met her husband,
