NEW & UPCOMING PAINTING & DRAWING CLASSES

SCHEDULE:

YEAR ROUND PRIVATE ART CLASSES WITH ROBERT K. ROARK
Mr. Roark is currently accepting students at all levels, from beginners to advanced. There is a limited number of private one-on-one times still available at $50 for a two hour session. Students are taught composition, artistic and technical skills and encouraged to develop their own style. Students are not required to take a set number of sessions nor is there a limit to the number of sessions one can take. Classes are available in oils, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, pen & ink and drawing. All students are required to bring their own art supplies. A supply list will be given at the time students register for classes.
 

Private Art Instruction Fee:
$50 for a two hour session. For maximum benefit we do recommend taking classes for 6 weeks or longer. However, this is not a requirement and Mr. Roark will work with your schedule. Classes can run longer than two hours at a rate of $25 per hour.

OIL PAINTING FOR ALL LEVELS at Cape Cod Museum of Art - SOLD OUT!
Taught by Robert K. Roark
8 weeks / Thursdays, April 15 - June 3/ 9:30 - 11:30 am
This class covers both basic and advanced oil techniques. Theory, color, composition and drawing are also taught. Students may work from a still life or bring in their own objects or photos from which to paint. Robert will give ongoing demonstrations throughout the course.

Beginning Painting with Robert Roark- SOLD OUT!

Members: $75   Non-members: $95
This class addresses the needs of the beginning painter, who may work in their medium of choice- watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels. Emphasis is on basic drawing and painting skills along with an in-depth, ongoing discussion of materials, color theory and composition. Demonstrations illustrate all facets of the artistic process.
