WINSTANLEY-ROARK FINE ARTS OPENS NEW GALLERY WITH A GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION

The grand opening celebration of Winstanley-Roark Fine Arts will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2007, from 5 to 8 PM in their new location at 744 Route 6A, Dennis, MA. When asked why the gallery was moved just up the street from the previous location, resident artists and owners Anita Winstanley Roark and Robert Roark stated that “We felt that this new space was more centrally located and because the new gallery is so open and spacious we will be able to represent a number of new artists. The gallery also has warm, antique wood floors and a working fireplace which gives us the opportunity to decorate the gallery with antiques that beautifully display the artwork and offer our visitors the pleasure of viewing the artwork in a warm, inviting and relaxed atmosphere.” Currently, the gallery features the original works of more than twenty-five renowned realists and impressionists, including Michael Riddet, Debra Teare, George Gonzalez, James Rodgers, and B. Nicole Klassen. All of these artists will have work on display for the upcoming grand opening, which kicks off their show season. Among other exciting exhibitions, this season will include “Leading Masters of Contemporary Realism: The International Guild of Realism” which will feature over fifty leading masters of Realism from around the world and will take place on July 28, 2007. Located in an old Sea Captain’s home in the heart of Cape Cod, this beautifully restored space with its six spacious gallery rooms is just up the street from The Cape Cod Museum of Art, Cape Cinema and Cape Playhouse. Mr. Roark’s studio is located at the gallery and he invites visitors in to view and discuss his most recent works of art.
